A total of 555 tree seedlings were handed over during the event, consisting of various types of fruit trees and shade trees, namely:

The Head of Section I of the Jambi Natural Resources Conservation Agency, Mr. H. U. Ikhwanudin, SP, ME, said that the handover of these seedlings is part of a commitment to preserving biodiversity and conserving geoparks that have high geological, ecological, and educational value. “Through the planting of these trees, we are not only preserving the natural beauty of the area but also providing long-term economic and ecological benefits for the surrounding community,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Merangin Jambi Geopark Management Agency welcomed this support and committed to caring for and utilizing these tree seedlings to the best of their ability. “These fruit seedlings will become a source of food and educational tourism potential in the future, while the protective trees will strengthen the ecosystem's function and beautify the geopark area.”
Through this seedling distribution, it is hoped that sustainable synergy will be created between conservation institutions and geopark managers in preserving nature. May the seedlings planted today become a symbol of our shared commitment to passing on a sustainable environment to future generations.
