Tiangko Crystal Cave
Tiangko Crystal Cave
The karst landscape forms this cave. In addition, it has a high pre-historic archaeological value, so it means that this area was once a place of early human settlement. Research that has been carried out, among others, by August Tobler, 1913, is to carry out exploration excavations and find shale tools. Then in 1926 J. Zwierzycki discovered artifacts of obsidian and other stones. Both tools include the Mesolithic blade serih (Heekeren, 1972), according to R.P Soejono, 1993 derived from advanced hunting. Bennet Bronson and Teguh Asmar, 1984 found layers of pottery beneath which obsidian tools were found. The cultural layer is estimated to be 9,210 years ago.
