Serampas Coffee

Serampas Coffee is one of the top products of Rantau Kermas village and a member of the Geographical Indication Protection Society (MPIG-MS'J). Serampas Coffee is one of the Merangin Local Brands and Geoproduct of Merangin Jambi Geopark. Serampas coffee has succeeded in the National Market in the form of semi-finished and finished materials. 

Serampas Robusta coffee is grown at an altitude of 1.100 to 1.300 masl. It has a unique flavor of robusta variant in its taste because processed with modern machines and professional and trained personnel under the guidance of the Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) of Alam Depati Payung and the Non-Governmental Indonesian Conservation Community, Warsi (NGO KKI Warsi). In the process of selling out, the cooperation is not only done with shops but also with supermarkets, coffee shops, and national companies on a small and large scale. 

In the production process, funding is not only from village funds but also receives assistance from the Tropical Forest Conservation Action (TFCA) of Sumatra. For Promotional Activities, Serampas Coffee is also working with State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), such as BANK BRI of Bangko, and also expected to continue as a mainstay product in the landscape of the Mount Masurai Complex of Merangin Jambi Geopark.
