Geyser is that emit sulfur smoke as a result of geothermal boiling activity of the earth. The magma conducts heat conductively to the surrounding rock. The heat also causes convection flow in the hydrothermal fluid in the rock pores, the fluid moves upwards but does not reach the surface because it is restrained by impermeable layer, because of the cracks in the rock due to the fault causing this geothermal heat to reach the surface. The rock composition around this location is andesite-dacite lava, volcanic breccia and travertine, chlorite tuff and quartz.
