Cylindrical Stone of Nilo Dingin Village
Cylindrical Stone of Nilo Dingin Village
Cylindrical stone is one of the hallmarks of the megalithic site around the Mt. Masurai. Especially in the village of Nilo dingin there is a cylindrical stone made of Ignimbrite stone, which is the result of the eruption of the Mt. Masurai. The stone is elliptical measuring 4.38 m x 1,125 m. At the base there is an ornament resembling a human who is sitting/squatting in the position of both arms outstretched. The depiction of the figure looks imperfect and disproportionate. While the edges are left plain, only the surface is slightly convex. The location of the site was found in a coffee plantation area.
