Lake Telago Biru

Small phreatic eruptions have occurred within and near the wall of Masurai Caldera. Its different genesis with mainly crater when caldera formation and also different process to Kumbang Crater and Mabuk Crater Formations. In the base part is covered by pyroclastic eruption product, thus causing to be impermeable. When there is influence of temperature from within subsurface by idientified volcanic heating, and contamination to water table or connate water on bedrock layer, thus occurred small eruption. Blue color on the lake, possibility the consequence to minerals composisition such as primary or clay hydrothermal alteration, and the bottom part consist of basalt andesitic lava.
