With a diameter of ± 1 m, it is located on the bank of the Tembesi River which borders the phyllite rocks of the Jurassic Asai Formation. Formed from the activity of Mount Tungkat, based on the results of observations Mount Tungkat and Mount Masurai have a magma chamber which is estimated to be the same, but Mount Tungkat is no longer active after a small effusive eruption caused by the movement of the main Sumatran fault which made the peak of Mount Tungkat split, and lava flowed. Towards the slopes, the cooling speed and initial temperature of the lava flow deposits are slow in the cooling process and the thickness of the lava flows produces large columns and forms solid columns called Stacked Stones. The most common igneous rock is andesitic basalt lava, which is thought to have occurred during the Pleistocene.
