Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between the Merangin Jambi Geopark with the Rinjani-Lombok UGGp

The signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between the Merangin Jambi Geopark with the Rinjani-Lombok UGGp. It took place on the sidelines of The 3rd Geotourism Festival and International Conference at the Lombok Raya Hotel Mataram City West Nusa Tenggara Province on Thursday, August 11, 2022.

The signing was carried out directly between Mr. Dr. Agus, S.Sos., M.Hum as the General Manager of Merangin Jambi Geopark and Mohamad Farid Zaini, ST, MBA as the General Manager of Rinjani Lombok UGGp, and witnessed directly by Mr. H. Mashuri, S.Pd., MM as the Regent of Merangin Regency, Mr. Nasution, S.Pd., ME as the Head of Education and Culture Office, and Mr, Sukoso, S.STP as the Head of Youth, Sports and Tourism Office. The Regent of Merangin Regency provides a welcome and directions regarding the implementation of the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) aimed at increasing the capacity of human resources, geotourism, and geoproduct in each geopark, and expected to improve people’s welfare and preserve geological, biodiversity, and cultural heritage.
