Lempisang Waterfall

The waterfall wall is an Ignimbrite resulting from the Masurai Caldera eruption 33,000 years ago, the water path exits through a rock gap in the cliff wall in a layer of porous sediment, namely pumice. These deposits may indicate the eruption phase between the top and bottom. The cliffs of the waterfall are able to show in full the sequence of deposits of the masurai eruption, the Asai Formation (Ja) in the form of mesozoic metamorphic rocks, namely phyllite. Masurai caldera deposits are started from Pre-caldera Lava, surge deposits, first phase Ignimbrite, pumice, welded tuff, second phase Ignimbrite, and tefra deposits.
