Lake Depati Empat
This lake was formed due to tectonic activity which resulted in slight faults and straits. From the main zone of the great Sumatran fault. The lake is located between the two faults, the bedrock is Pliocene-aged Langkup Granodiorite which emerged to the surface by breaking through older rocks, namely the Hulusimpang Formation in the form of lava, volcanic breccia and ignimbrite composed of andesite-basalt aged Oligocene-Early Miocene.
